During the installation of your irrigation system, a backflow preventer is installed between your main water line and your irrigation systems.  This backflow preventer keeps water from your irrigation system from flowing backwards into the purified water supplying your home.

Due to state regulation, backflow preventers must be tested on
an annual basis.
